The Leo is an impressive mobility scooter from trusted manufacturers Invacare. A top speed of 4mph makes this perfect to use as a pavement scooter. That’s not to say that it’s only for short trips, as you’ll get a travel distance of up to 23 miles on a full charge.
It’s is larger and sturdier than a portable mobility scooter but with that comes extra stability and added comfort. The seat includes a sliding rail so that you can adjust the distance between you and the tiller.
Also, a swivel action allows you to turn the seat, making it easier to get on and off the scooter. The delta tiller is responsive and can be changed to suit your preferred angle.
Although the Leo can be dismantled, the parts are very heavy compared to a portable scooter. We wouldn’t recommend that you do this on a regular basis but would be worth doing for longer trips away.
Built-in anti-splash guards will protect the electrics from dirt and water if using in wet conditions. Also, a package that includes front & rear lights, side reflectors, and indicators will ensure that you remain visible and can see in darker conditions.
